Our principles

Trust built on transparency, not borrowed authority.

We’d rather earn your trust by being clear about what we are, how we work, and where our limits lie than by dressing up as something we’re not.

Clear about what we are

PawsNPup is an independent team of writers and researchers. We are not a veterinary clinic, a medical institution, or a certified specialist body, and we never present ourselves as one. There are no fabricated credentials, review boards, or expert personas anywhere on this site.

Clear about our sources

Our information comes from reputable, publicly available sources, organised and explained in plain language. Where it counts, we link back so you can check the original. Read more on the Research & Sources page.

Clear about money

Some product links may be affiliate links, which can earn PawsNPup a small commission at no extra cost to you. That relationship never decides what we recommend. Product picks are researched independently, and we don’t take paid placements or sponsored reviews. See our Affiliate Disclosure for detail.

Updates and corrections

Guides are revisited as understanding changes, and each shows when it was last reviewed. If something is wrong, we want to fix it. Reach us any time through the contact page.

Responsible boundaries

We give general information, never diagnosis or treatment. For medical concerns we’ll always point you to your vet. That boundary is deliberate, and we hold to it.
