Terms of use.

The straightforward terms under which PawsNPup content is offered. What you can expect from us, and what we ask of you. Written in plain language; this isn’t legal advice.

Using this site

PawsNPup is an independent, research-driven information website about dogs and cats. You’re welcome to read, share, and use our guides for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt it, or by copying large parts of it to republish as your own.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information to help you understand a topic and ask better questions. It is not veterinary, medical, or other professional advice, and it isn’t tailored to your individual pet. For anything to do with your pet’s health, or in an emergency, your own vet is the right person to consult. General information and personalised professional advice are not the same thing, and we don’t offer the latter.

Intellectual property

The original writing, design, and layout on this site belong to PawsNPup. You’re free to link to our pages and to quote short passages with credit. Republishing whole guides, or using our content commercially, needs our permission first. Product names, brands, and trademarks mentioned on the site remain the property of their respective owners.

We link out to other websites (sources, references, and useful resources) for your convenience. Those sites are not under our control, and a link isn’t an endorsement of everything on them. Once you leave PawsNPup, the other site’s own terms and privacy practices apply.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to be accurate and to keep our guides current, but we can’t guarantee that everything is complete, up to date, or right for your particular situation. The site is offered “as is,” and you use the information at your own discretion. Because our guides are general information rather than professional advice, decisions about your pet, especially health decisions, should be made with your vet.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you have any questions about them, you can reach us through the contact page.
